iI want to play Company of heroes: Online, I have all of the minnimum requirments ecept RAM (I need 1gb but I have 800 mb) will a 1 or 2 gb make the game less laggy? Would a larger RAM effect the speed of the game at all?

@builder802 8 Gigs is great, But if you have Alienware, i’d rather “trick it out” and put in 12 gigs.

@builder802 Yeah, in most cases it should automatically detect that you have added ram. And yeah, its very important that your get the right type of ram for your computer and to check if you can even add more ram to it in the first place. The crucial website in the video is great for giving you all those specifics.

@n00bcr3w My friend once asked me if one Terabyte of ram was possible. I told him that he needed more than 6 feet of space to move around in his room.

@RWohlhueter If you have a static charge on you (maybe from carpet + shoes) you could discharge onto the components and damage the computer.

@Moose9045 lol. Combat Arms is not a laggy game at all. I am wireless on a Sony Vaio Laptop 4 gb ram, ATI graphics, 320 GB memory. I run fine, I’m using Quest (ISP) and have a Quest, (G-Router) (1 Antenna). You will only lag if you have anything lower than this.

my computer did not recognize my ram, I installed the card and it reads “The instruction ‘0×7c91b1fa’ referenced memory at ‘0×00000010′, the memory could not be ‘written’” I am very curious about what is going on and why doesn’t it not recognize it? the cards are almost the same as my original card, only these ones are double sided. Can someone help me!?

  19. RWohlhueter on December 6, 2010 at 12:24 pm

Why do you need to be grounded if its already unplugged?

Note that at 5:30 It’s still taking like a couple seconds to just load a tiny ad… yeah, 512gb is nice… for $100

  25. Shadowblaster1 on December 6, 2010 at 8:03 pm

@jokubolakis6 so maybe you should get a different piece of ram that might work with your computer >.
